Apache's Promise
Our Story
Apache's Promise was founded by Lori in 1973. The foundation serves as a remembrance and promise that Lori made to her first friend, and pony, Apache (shown above). After spending her childhood with Apache, Lori developed an everlasting love and appreciation for animals of all kinds. Shortly after the passing of her dear Apache, Lori decided to dedicate her life, as a promise to Apache, to the rescuing of countless animals, providing them with a second chance at life that they deserved. Despite the challenges and costs involved in rescuing, rehabilitating, and relocating an animal, Lori has continued to keep her promise and has saved countless animals of all shapes and sizes. Along with her sister, Lori continues to fulfill this promise, seeking support from others to help provide as many animals as possible with the second chance they deserve.
